Participant Reviews

In Their Own Words

"I came expecting something like a financial planning seminar. It was completely different — the session was about how to think, not what to buy. The worked example was genuinely helpful. I used the worksheet three weeks later for an actual decision and it made the process noticeably less muddled."

Fauziah Hamid

JB Sentral · Clarity Workshop · June 2025

"The four-week course felt well-paced. Each session introduced something new but didn't try to do too much. Week three — on reaching a position without overthinking — was the one I found most directly useful. I'd say it's worth going in with a real decision in mind, rather than attending purely theoretically."

Tampoi · Frameworks Course · May 2025

"I enrolled in the complete programme after trying the clarity workshop. The printed workbook is something I still pick up when a bigger decision comes up — it's not decorative. The group support in the months after was quieter than I expected, but the sessions themselves were worth it on their own."

Wee Jian Hao

Skudai · Complete Programme · March 2025

"What I appreciated most was that nobody in the room was trying to sell me anything. The facilitator was straightforward about what the session could and couldn't do. For anyone who's been to 'financial literacy' talks that turned into product pitches, this is quite different."

Nadia Rashid

Gelang Patah · Clarity Workshop · June 2025

"The session was well-structured. My only comment is that the worked example used in week one felt a bit distant from the kind of choices I actually face — I'd have preferred something with more everyday complexity. That said, the framework itself transferred well once I tried applying it to my own situation."

Permas Jaya · Frameworks Course · April 2025

"My partner and I both attended the complete programme. Having a shared vocabulary for discussing decisions has genuinely changed how we talk through choices together. We now both use the review step — which is probably the one thing we skipped consistently before."

AM

Azlan bin Mohd Sharif

Clarity Workshop → Frameworks Course

Starting Point

Azlan was dealing with a significant financial decision — one he described as feeling stuck in a loop of "going back and forth" without being able to commit to a direction.

What He Did

He started with the Clarity Workshop and returned two months later for the four-week course. He found that the framing and trade-off stages gave him a way to articulate what was actually making the decision difficult.

His View Now

He reached a decision he felt confident explaining. He notes the value was less about the outcome and more about no longer feeling paralysed by the process of deciding.

"The workshop didn't tell me what to do — but it did help me see clearly why I'd been avoiding the decision."
LM

Loh Mei Ling

Complete Programme

Starting Point

Mei Ling described making several significant financial choices over a short period that she later felt uncertain about — not because the outcomes were bad, but because she hadn't thought them through systematically.

What She Did

She enrolled in the Complete Programme. She found the self-paced modules between sessions particularly useful because they let her work through real decisions at her own pace, rather than generic examples.

Her View Now

She uses the review worksheet quarterly to revisit earlier decisions. She describes it as "a useful audit rather than a source of regret" — a way to close loops rather than carry doubt.

"I stopped second-guessing past decisions once I had a proper method for making future ones."
RP

Ravi Pillai

Frameworks Course

Starting Point

Ravi had a strong analytical background but found that when it came to personal financial choices, he would often over-research and still feel unable to commit to a direction.

What He Did

He attended the four-week course. He was particularly struck by the week three session, which distinguished between gathering information and making a decision — two things he had been doing at the same time.

His View Now

He now sets a deliberate point where research stops and deciding begins. He reports that this single change removed most of his decision fatigue around financially significant choices.

"I had information. I didn't have a process. That was the gap."
